Easy Wire Wrapped Ring Tutorial
I love wire rings. These cocktail rings can make quite a statement. Do you like it in gold and clear, blue and silver or silver and black?
You'll need 20 gauge wire, 24 gauge wire, a ring mandrel, flush cutter, various beads
1)Take a 3 feet length of 20 gauge wire and wrap 3 times
around the mandrel at the appropriate size.
2)Twist the ends into a spiral.
3)Remove the wire from the mandrel and continue to spiral the ends around to make a flat surface on the top. Tuck in the ends.
4)With another 2 ft. length of 20 gauge wire, start under the flat spiral and wrap all around the base so the wire ends up back at the top. Tuck the ends under the spiral.
5)Then begin stringing beads in a random fashion on a 2 ft. length of 24 gauge wire. After each bead, thread the wire through the spiral, leaving each bead randomly attached on the top.
6)Add as many beads as needed to cover the spiral. Tuck excess wire under. Enjoy!
